What is full-package garment manufacturing?

Full-package manufacturing means we handle everything from design and pattern making to cutting, sewing, finishing, and delivery. You provide the concept, we deliver the finished product ready to sell.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

150 units per style. Colors can be split within that minimum, subject to a dyeing minimum of approximately 80 kg per color.

Do you export to the United States?

Yes, we export to the United States and throughout Latin America. We handle all customs, packaging, and international shipping logistics.

What types of garments do you manufacture?

We manufacture resortwear, swimwear, casual wear, activewear, corporate uniforms, and medical scrubs for both women and men.

Tulum Fashions is a full-package garment manufacturing company based in Medellín, Colombia. For over 12 years, we have partnered with national and international brands to bring their fashion visions to life — from initial concept to final delivery.

We believe in generating real social impact. Our workforce includes single mothers whom we train in garment construction, integrating them into the formal economy and giving them the tools to build a better future for their families.

With our own production plant in Medellín — a development team of pattern makers and technical designers, cutting, sewing, sample room and QC — plus a curated network of long-standing allied workshops to scale, we manage the full cycle end to end with a single point of accountability, so you can focus on growing your brand.

Import Tariffs to USA

Colombian apparel entering the US carries a 12.5% additional duty (effective July 24, 2026), against 35–65% effective on Chinese apparel. Rates current as of August 2026 and subject to change — we quote landed cost per shipment, not from a chart.

Duty into the EU & U.K.

Colombian apparel enters the European Union duty-free under the EU–Colombia Trade Agreement (in force since 2013) and the U.K. under the Andean–U.K. Agreement (since 2021), against a 12% MFN rate on Chinese apparel. Preferential treatment requires meeting the agreements' rules of origin, including fabric origin, which we confirm per style before quoting.

The development fee covers fabric coolhunting and sourcing, trims and hardware, your complete tech pack and 1:1 advisory with the founder. The sample covers pattern making, cutting, sewing, three fit rounds and size grading on approval. Design-change rounds are charged at US$150 — unless the correction is our error, then it is free.

Example — one t-shirt, starting from zeroUS$450 development + US$350 sample = US$800 before production, plus shipping. With your own tech pack: US$550.

Everything is paid in advance. Produce 500+ units per style and 50% of your development fee comes back as credit on the production invoice. Our production minimum is 150 units per style — what a lean manufacturing module needs to fill a production day, so we cannot run below it. Full pricing and what each fee includes.
