Tulum Fashions manufactures private label medical scrubs in Medellín, Colombia. Scrub tops, jogger and straight leg scrub trousers, warm up jackets and lab coats, plus chef jackets, aprons and kitchen wear, produced full package for scrub brands, clinics, restaurants and uniform distributors.
Nobody buys a second set because the fabric was interesting. They buy it because the first set fit through a twelve hour shift and came back from the wash the same size and the same color. Grading and shrinkage control are where a scrub programme is actually won.

The credit applies to the development fee only and is issued against the final production payment, never as an upfront discount. The order must be placed within 90 days of sample approval. Samples, extra fit rounds and shipping are never credited. Below 500 units per style the fee is not refundable: treat it as the cost of building the style, not as a deposit.

Only where the mill certifies the finish. Those are fabric treatments, not something a factory can claim on its own, so we quote them against a specific mill reference and pass through the mill documentation. We do not put a performance claim on a garment we cannot document.
Yes, and it is worth spending the development budget there. Scrubs sell across a wider size range than fashion, and a size curve that only works in the middle is the most common reason a scrub programme fails on reorder. Fit corrections come with 3 rounds included in the development fee.

No. That claim is common in the industry and it is wrong. As of August 2026 Colombian apparel enters the United States at 12.5% with a valid certificate of origin. The advantage is real but it is a comparison, not an exemption: effective duties on Chinese apparel run 35 to 65%.
Yes, provided the brand can commit to 150 units per style and pay for development. Development is paid work: US$800 per style from scratch, US$550 if you bring your own tech pack. We do not absorb development cost in exchange for a future order.

Colombia's trade agreements also give duty-free access to the European Union (in force since 2013) and the United Kingdom (since 2021), subject to each agreement's rules of origin. Combined with 3–5 day Miami transit, that’s a significant landed-cost edge over China at 35–65%.
