Tulum Fashions is a low MOQ clothing manufacturer in Medellín, Colombia. Dresses, tops, shirts, knitwear, trousers and coordinated sets, produced full package for brands in the United States and Europe.
Most factories that quote a small run treat it as a favour. We publish the minimum, the surcharge below it and the lead time, so you can plan a collection instead of negotiating one.
Up to 3 colors inside that minimum, sizes mix freely. Runs of 100 to 149 carry a short run surcharge.
Below 150 we still run, with a short run surcharge. Under 100 units it is sampling, and we price it as sampling.
From approved sample and received deposit. Sampling itself takes about 3 weeks.
Development is paid work, quoted per style and charged before it starts. This is published policy, not a case by case negotiation.

The credit applies to the development fee only and is issued against the final production payment, never as an upfront discount. The order must be placed within 90 days of sample approval. Samples, extra fit rounds and shipping are never credited. Below 500 units per style the fee is not refundable: treat it as the cost of building the style, not as a deposit.

Yes, that is the point of a 150 unit minimum. Asian factories commonly start at 500 or 1,000 units per style, which forces a young brand to buy inventory it cannot sell. The trade off is honest: below 150 units the unit price carries a short run surcharge, because setup, marking and cutting cost the same whether you run 100 pieces or 1,000.
Dresses, tops, shirts, knitwear, trousers and coordinated sets, plus swim, resort and activewear in the same factory. Send the reference garment or the tech pack and we quote development against it.
6 to 8 weeks from approved sample and received deposit. Sampling takes about 3 weeks. Air freight from Medellín to the United States adds 3 to 5 days.
We do. Full package means patterns, fabric and trim sourcing, sampling, cutting, sewing, quality control, labelling and export documentation. The alternative is CMT, where the brand supplies its own fabric. Those two are not comparable on price, because fabric is the largest cost in most garments.
No. That claim is common in the industry and it is wrong. As of August 2026 Colombian apparel enters the United States at 12.5% with a valid certificate of origin. The advantage is real but it is a comparison, not an exemption: effective duties on Chinese apparel run 35 to 65%.
Yes, provided the brand can commit to 150 units per style and pay for development. Development is paid work: US$800 per style from scratch, US$550 if you bring your own tech pack. We do not absorb development cost in exchange for a future order.
Yes. Sizes mix freely inside the 150 units. Colors do not: those 150 units cover up to 3 colors, and more colorways means more units.
