Tulum Fashions is a full package swimwear manufacturer in Medellín, Colombia. We produce bikinis, one pieces, crochet swim, trunks, rash guards and complete resort collections for brands in the United States and Europe.
Full package means patterns, fabric and trim sourcing, cut and sew, in house QC and export documentation, with Tulum as the single point of accountability.
Low enough to launch a real collection. Up to 3 colors inside that minimum, sizes mix freely.
From approved sample and received deposit. Sampling itself takes about 3 weeks.
With a certificate of origin. Colombian apparel is not duty free, whatever the industry says. Chinese apparel runs 35 to 65%.
Development is paid work, quoted per style and charged before it starts. This is published policy, not a case by case negotiation.

The credit applies to the development fee only and is issued against the final production payment, never as an upfront discount. The order must be placed within 90 days of sample approval. Samples, extra fit rounds and shipping are never credited. Below 500 units per style the fee is not refundable: treat it as the cost of building the style, not as a deposit.
150 units per style, split across up to 3 colors. Sizes mix freely. Runs of 100 to 149 units are accepted with a short run surcharge. Under 100 units we treat the order as sampling rather than production.
Yes, provided the brand can commit to 150 units per style and pay for development. Development is paid work: US$800 per style from scratch, US$550 if you bring your own tech pack. We do not absorb development cost in exchange for a future order.
Partly, and only at volume. We credit 50% against orders of 500 units or more per style, and 100% at 1,000 units or more. The credit is applied to the final production payment and the order must be placed within 90 days of sample approval. Below 500 units per style the fee is not refundable.

No. That claim is common in the industry and it is wrong. As of August 2026 Colombian apparel enters the United States at 12.5% with a valid certificate of origin. The advantage is real but it is a comparison, not an exemption: effective duties on Chinese apparel run 35 to 65%.
You send the design or the concept. We handle patterns, fabric and trim sourcing, sampling, cutting, sewing, quality control, labelling and export documentation. The alternative is CMT, where the brand supplies its own fabric. Those two are not comparable on price, because fabric is the largest cost in a swim garment.
Minimums are far lower than typical Asian swim factories, transit to the United States is 3 to 5 days by air instead of weeks by sea, and Medellín has a swim specific supply chain: technical knits, cups, hardware and trims sourced locally rather than imported.
Yes. Send the reference garment or the tech pack and we quote development against it. Fabric is matched by construction, weight and fiber content, and we send swatches before production. The swatch is included in the development fee, courier is US$35.
