Performance and activewear designed for comfort and style.
Tulum Fashions manufactures bulk activewear and athleisure in Medellín, Colombia. Leggings, sports bras, gym shorts, tank tops, yoga wear and complete fitness collections, produced full package for fitness and athleisure brands in the United States and Europe.
For a US brand, Latin America is the middle ground Asia cannot offer: technical knits sourced locally, air freight measured in days instead of weeks, and minimums a growing label can actually commit to.
Up to 3 colors inside that minimum, sizes mix freely. Asian activewear factories routinely start at 500 or 1,000.
Medellín to the United States. Sea freight from Asia is measured in weeks, which is what kills a reorder.
With a certificate of origin. Colombian apparel is not duty free, whatever the industry says. Chinese apparel runs 35 to 65%.
Repeat production is where a fitness label makes its margin. Gym wear and athleisure reorder faster than any other category we run. Everything below is published policy, not a case by case negotiation.
500 units or more per style earns a better unit price. Ask for the tiered quote rather than the single run price.
6 to 8 weeks from approved sample and received deposit. Sampling takes about 3 weeks.
Technical knits sourced from Colombian mills. We match by construction, weight and fiber content, and send swatches before production.
100 to 149 runs carry a short run surcharge. Under 100 units is sampling, not production.
It rewards brands that put styles into production rather than subsidising brands that only explore.
credited at 500 units or more per style
credited at 1,000 units or more per style
The credit applies to the development fee only and is issued against the final production payment, never as an upfront discount. The order must be placed within 90 days of sample approval. Samples, extra fit rounds and shipping are never credited. Below 500 units per style the fee is not refundable: treat it as the cost of building the style, not as a deposit.
150 units per style, split across up to 3 colors. Sizes mix freely. Runs of 100 to 149 units are accepted with a short run surcharge. Under 100 units we treat the order as sampling rather than production.
Three practical reasons. Minimums are far lower than typical Asian activewear factories, which usually start at 500 or 1,000 units per style. Air freight from Medellín to the United States takes 3 to 5 days instead of weeks by sea, so a style that sells out can be back in stock inside the same season. And Colombian apparel enters the United States at 12.5% with a certificate of origin, against 35 to 65% effective on Chinese apparel.
Leggings, sports bras, gym shorts, tank tops, yoga wear and full fitness collections. Send the reference garment or the tech pack and we quote development against it.
Yes. Repeat production at 500 units or more per style earns a better unit price, so ask for the tiered quote rather than a single run price. At those volumes part of the development fee is credited back as well.
Technical knits sourced from Colombian mills. We match fabric by construction, weight and fiber content against your reference, and send swatches before production. The swatch is included in the development fee, courier is US$35.
6 to 8 weeks from approved sample and received deposit. Sampling takes about 3 weeks. Air freight adds 3 to 5 days to the United States.
No. That claim is common in the industry and it is wrong. As of August 2026 Colombian apparel enters the United States at 12.5% with a valid certificate of origin. The advantage is real but it is a comparison, not an exemption.
Yes, provided the brand can commit to 150 units per style and pay for development. Development is paid work: US$800 per style from scratch, US$550 if you bring your own tech pack. We do not absorb development cost in exchange for a future order.
